PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU BOOK.

YOUR CONTRACT IS WITH WITNEY TRAVEL LTD (TRADING AS TAXIS ABROAD) A FULLY BONDED MEMBER OF ABTA (HEREAFTER CALLED “THE COMPANY”). THE FOLLOWING BOOKING CONDITIONS APPLY.

1. Booking Conditions:
When you make a booking either via our web site or by telephone (at a £10 per booking administration fee) you are accepting on behalf of all your party the terms of our booking conditions. A booking is accepted on condition that the person making the booking is aged 18 years or over and has read and understood these conditions. Any booking made through a Travel Agent means that the Travel Agent acts as an agent of, and holds any money on behalf of the company. A contract will exist only when we issue our “Confirmation Document” which is subject to our “Acceptance Procedure”.

2. Our Web Site:
Our Web Site is designed for you to select and book “Transfers” from your arrival airport to your accommodation or vice versa, by various described means, on a “one-way” or “return” basis, hereafter referred to as the “service”. We reserve the right to alter our prices, shown on our Web Site, at any time.

3. Booking Procedure:
You are required to follow the booking procedure set out on our web site.
We will immediately acknowledge receipt of your booking request and within 48 Hours of booking we will, subject to our Acceptance Procedure, issue our Confirmation Document showing the full details of your booking.

Once the balance, or full payment (if the booking is made within 28 days prior to the initial execution date) has been received we will issue our “Service Voucher”.

All written communication by us will be by online electronic means to the email address given when making your booking.

4. Acceptance Procedure:
When you make a booking we will immediately acknowledge it, however we need to verify, with our local supplier, the availability and that the accommodation address you have given is within the City or Resort limits you have selected. This process in normally very quick but should there be any discrepancy or problem we will contact you within 48 Hours.

5. Price Guarantee:
All our prices are guaranteed against Surcharge once the booking has been confirmed. Only Governmental action can effect this guarantee.

6. Your Protection:
The company is a Retail and Tour Operating member of ABTA and holds ATOL and IATA Licences and is Bonded as Tour Organisers, Air Travel Organisers and Retail Travel Agents.

7. Luggage & Porterage:
A transfer, by whatever type of vehicle, includes carriage of luggage limited to one suite case and one piece on hand luggage per person. Additional luggage may be carried, at the discretion of the driver, but this may result in additional charges, for which you will be responsible. Unless stated porterage in not included in our prices.

8. Payments:
A Deposit of £20 per booking is due when you make a booking. The balance price of your booking must be paid at least 28 days before its initial execution date. If the balance is not paid in time we reserve the right to cancel your booking, retain your deposit and apply the cancellation charges as set out below. If you make a booking within 28 days of it initial execution date then full payment is due. All payments should be made to the company. Where payments are being made from abroad these should be in the form of a banker’s draft, in pounds sterling, drawn on a London bank or Credit/Debit card. Other forms of foreign cheques may incur bank charges, which will be added to your account.

All payments by credit cards attract a 2% charge.

9. Alterations and Cancellations:
If, after our confirmation document has been issued, you wish to alter your booking (within 8 hours of the originally booked time/s) you may do so up to 48 Hours prior to its initial execution date, subject to its availability and any difference in the applicable price being paid. Alterations can not be made within 48 Hours of the initial execution date and any such requests for an alteration may be treated as a cancellation of the original booking and will be subject to the Cancellation Charges set out below.

You may cancel your booking at any time providing that the cancellation is made by the person who made the booking, or to whom the confirmation document was addressed, and is communicated to us in writing (via your Travel Agent if applicable) and subject to the Cancellation Charges shown below:

Cancellation charges:

More than 28 days prior to the initial execution date Loss of deposit only
28 to 7 days prior to the initial execution date 50% of the booking cost
Less than 7 days prior to the initial execution date or “No Shows”          100% of the booking cost

Note: If the reason for your cancellation is covered under the terms of your Travel Insurance you may be able to reclaim these charges.

10. Complaints:
If you have a problem while away please inform the relevant local supplier, whose address and telephone number appears on our Service Voucher, immediately and they will endeavour to put things right. If your complaint can not be completely resolved locally, you must put your complaint in writing giving your original booking reference and all relevant information within 28 days of your return. It is therefore a condition of this contract that you communicate any problem with the local supplier of the service in question in writing whilst in resort and obtain a receipt for same. If you fail to follow this simple procedure we cannot accept responsibility as we are deprived of the opportunity to investigate and rectify the problem.

It is unlikely that you will have a complaint that cannot be settled amicable between us. However disputes arising out of, or in connection with this contract which cannot be amicably settled, may (if you wish) be referred to Arbitration under a special scheme, which though devised by arrangement with the Association of British Travel Agents, is administrated quite independently by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. 11. If we make changes:
It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your booking. Occasionally changes may be made, which we reserve the right to do so at any time. Most of these changes will be minor and we will advise you (or your Travel Agent) at the earliest possible date.

12. Our Liabilities:
We will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that your chosen transfer means will collect you from your collection point at the times stated on our Service Voucher. However, we will not accept liability for any costs you incur through any reasonable or unavoidable delays which may cause you to miss your flight. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have booked your collection time to allow sufficient time for your journey to be completed.

13. Reconfirmation:
You must reconfirm any services booked for a transfer from your accommodation to your departure airport with the local service supplier (Their address and telephone number are shown on your Service Voucher) at least 48 hours prior to your departure from your accommodation. If you fail to do so we cannot guarantee that the service will be provided and we will not accept liability for any additional costs you may incur.

14. Legal Jurisdiction:
This contract and the use of our Web Site is made on the terms of these booking conditions which are governed by English Law and both parties shall submit to the jurisdiction of English Courts at all times.

Please note:
All clients are advised to have adequate Travel Insurance in place before making a booking.
